Valencia striker David Villa may be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur after his agent revealed that several English sides have enquired about the Spaniard.

The player has been linked with a move to the England for some time with Chelsea being linked with him on numerous occasions.

Villa is widely regarded as one of Europe's best strikers and could regard Valencia as too small a stage and set his sights on a big-money Premier League move.

Reports in the Spanish press indicate Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has apparently lined up Villa as a possible replacement for Dimitar Berbatov who may still want to leave the club in January and has £30m to fund such a deal.
