Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness says the club would be willing to allowed Lucas Podolski leave on loan. The news would interest Manchester City who are keeping tabs on the Germany striker.
City were keen on signing Podolski but were warned off by Bayern as Jurgen Klinsmann, who is set to replace Ottmar Hitzfeld in the summer, wants him as part of his squad next season.
Hoeness said: "We have got to talk about what we are going to do. I am torn. A club like Bayern Munich needs four top strikers.
"If we loan him out and everything goes well, we have done everything right. Then we have got him games and he comes back on July 1."
He needs to play ; he hasn't done very good this season, as well as last, in terms of number of starts and goals. Manchester City could definitely offer him some good experience. I say, let him go on loan for the rest of the season, then come back to Bayern after the Euro, and be part of the Klinsmann-era.:)
