Speculation Ends
Real Madrid has end the speculation about Van De Vart when signing him on Tuesday from Hamburg SV.Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has signed a five-year deal and passed a medical in the morning and the transfer is reported to be worth around £10.3million.He will become the third signing for Real Madrid, after Rubén de la Red and Javi Garcia and fifth Dutch player in the current squad, following Arjen Robben, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Royston Drenthe and Wesley Sneijder into the Santiago Bernabéu.
Dream come True
It has been his dream linked with a move to the La Liga Champions and now he has secured his dream move to Real. Wesley Sneijder injury was the main reason the deal was sped up. His Dutch compatriot damaged cruciate ligaments in the Emirates Cup against Arsenal. It is expected that Sneijder will be out for at least 3 months and Real needed to find a replacement quickly. In Van der Vaart, they have certainly found a player who can fill in and then challenge for the starting spot when Sneijder makes his return.
Ronaldo will not coming
This signing will definitely end future transfer for Cristiano Ronaldo going to Real Madrid. This will come as welcome relief for Manchester United fans although a small minority might have wanted him to leave due to his lack of commitment.
History
Rafael van der Vaart started off his career with Ajax in Holland, making 117 appearances and scoring 52 goals. This was a remarkable tally for an attacking midfielder and this merited a move to HSV for 5.5million Euros. He spent three years at the Bundesliga club making 74 appearances and scoring 29 goals and now he has completed a move to Real Madrid at the age of just 25. In all this time, van der Vaart has acquired 57 international caps and scored 12 international goals, with a brief spell as the captain of the national team and with the opportunity he is getting at Los Merengues, he is certainly going to remain a permanent fixture within the Dutch national set-up.

With all his statistic, for sure that he is going to make a huge impact on the Spanish giants, boosting their chances of retaining the La Liga crown for the third consecutive season.
More than 2,000 spectators were on hand to see Rafael van der Vaart suit up and take the Bernabéu pitch for the first time in Real Madrid whites.
Amid the cheers and “Ole’s” from the stands, Rafael van der Vaart unleashed his arsenal of ball skills. With the fans completely captivated, the midfielder then launched several balls into the crowd.
